Kayachikitsa

Kayachikitsa is one of the eight branches of Ayurveda, which is an ancient system of medicine originating in India. The term "Kayachikitsa" can be broken down into two parts: "Kaya" meaning body, and "Chikitsa" meaning treatment. Thus, Kayachikitsa refers to the treatment of the body or internal medicine.Kayachikitsa primarily focuses on correcting the imbalance of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), which are considered to be the fundamental bodily bio-elements according to Ayurveda.Kayachikitsa is particularly effective in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, digestive disorders, respiratory diseases, and various psychosomatic disorders.
